Booking 21 System Status (AU, BRA, IT, MEX, SE)

Dear customer,
 
Early morning today, 2015-01-22, we changed time zone in your system from EST (Eastern Standard Time (UTC-5)) to Brazilian Summer Time (BRST UTC-2). This means that we have moved the clock forwards by 3 hours, which means this day, the 27th of January, will be three hours shorter than normal. If you run reports per hour there will be no data between the hours 3-5. We have made no changes to any campaign settings.

Booking 21 server:

On 2015-01-22 at 07:00 our US hosting center went down and both the booking interface and ad serving was down for 10-15 minutes or so before we switched over to the backup site.

Booking 21 server:

On 2015-01-09 at 07:51 GMT our US hosting center lost it's primary network connection due to planned maintenance. The backup network connection immediately came online instead as i should, but shortly after we noticed that that it was not fully working. Measurements showed that CxDisplay services on Booking 21 were only reachable from about 20% of the internet.

Failover to a secondary data center was initiated at about 08.20 GMT and should be finished within 60 minutes.

Affected services: ad serving

Problematic times: 07.51 to 9.20 GMT.

Booking 21 server:

On 2015-01-04 at 07.50 GMT, we noticed that ad serving for customers in the Americas became degraded. At 8.45 GMT we switched to ad delivery from one of our European hosting centers. At 9.30 GMT, the US hosting center came back online again and we switched ad serving back to that location.

The root cause was that our hosting facility lost all network connectivity due to an Internet Service Provider maintenance operation going very wrong.

Problematic times: 07.50 to 9.30 GMT.
