Forecasting and Tracking improvements (September 23, 2014)

Available from September 2014

What's in it for you?

  • More accurate forecasts
  • Faster execution of changes made to campaign
  • More accurate user tracking across multiple devices
  • More customization possibilities

Track users across platforms and devices
A new type of Identity mapping has been added to Cxense Advertising. This means you can track a user using different devices by consolidating traffic across multiple user IDs (e.g. 1st and 3rd party identifiers or across multiple devices).

Faster execution of changes in campaigns
The time taken for a change made in the user interface to show on a campaign (Index latency) has been reduced to between 30 and 50 minutes.

Forecasting improvements
Forecasts in Cxense Advertising have been upgraded to make them more accurate as they now include the confidence in order to measure the reliability of an estimate.
The forecasting system now returns an estimated confidence range for the forecast, with low numbers of impressions contributing to a low confidence (and this larger range) vs. a higher number of impressions delivering a more accurate forecast.

Add your own footer
Now you can customise the footer of each page in Cxense Advertising where the “Cxense copyright” is shown by default. The option is only available for system administrators.

Here is how you add the footer:

  1. To change the footer of the system login in as a system administrator and click “Manage Translation Resources” under “System Management” on the right hand side of the screen.
  2. Click download resources for the language you wish to change the footer for.
  3. Open the csv-file with Excel or another spreadsheet editor.
  4. Find the cell with name “Copyright © Cxense AS ${year}” (for English it’s B1442)
  5. Now replace “Cxense AS”with whatever you would like it to say.
  6. Save the csv-file and upload it to Cxad.
    • Click “add resources”
    • Choose the csv-file and choose language.
  7. Now your footer will appear in the language you have uploaded. If you do not see the new footer make sure that the user language has been set to the language you changed the footer for.
