What content should I have in my dashboard?

Answer:

With the dashboard feature you can customize your start page in Cxense Display, and select the content that you are most interest in and that can help you in your daily work. You can choose between 11 different modules, which are:

  • History module - This module displays historical data of the campaigns you have access to.
  • Future inventory - Displays your sell out ratio, i.e. the percentage of your inventory that is reserved in the future.
  • Campaign status - Displays the status levels of all your campaigns; waiting for approval, reserved, approved and active.
  • Campaign priority - Displays the different priorities that you are using for your campaigns.
  • Top campaigns - This module displays the campaigns that have delivered the most impressions.
  • Under-delivering campaigns - This module displays campaigns where the remaining booked impressions are >= 20% more then the the available inventory.
  • Recent campaigns - Displays the most recently edited campaigns or campaigns that start or stop within a specified time period.
  • Top content units - Displays the content units that have delivered the most impressions.
  • Click ratio content unit - This module displays the content units with the best click through rate.
  • Sell out - Report on period - Displays the number of empty, unsold and sold impressions per month, week or day.
  • Sell out - Report on unit - Displays the number of empty, unsold and sold impressions per Content Unit, Section or Site Network.

It is possible to edit each module so it fits your demands. E.g. periods, content unit filters and so on.

Cxense recommendations

As the dashboard is a personal tool where you can get the overview you need, the content of each dashboard can vary from user to user. Cxense Display recommends that you have a closer look at all the possibilities the dashboard has, and find the setup that suits you. With that being said, we of course have some recommendations on standard setups which might help you out.

  • Module 3: History - last months impressions and revenue

Head of sales

  • Module 1: History - last months impressions and clicks
  • Module 2: Inventory - next 4 weeks inventory
  • Module 3: History - last 6 months impressions and revenue
  • Module 4: Campaign status - status level of all campaigns
Some of the dashboard modules demands a lot of data. Therefore your Cxense Display startpage might load slowly if you have a lot of dashboard modules. Basically you should be able to have 4 modules without problems.
